DEEP EnGender is a non-profit, non-governmental research and learning organization. We work through engaged research, decolonial and transformative learning, ecological and social regeneration, and community-led initiatives for change. Rooted in Indigenous wisdom and critical scholarship, DEEP EnGender nurtures just and regenerative futures the way roots sustain a forest — from below. We read the world through the lens of gender: how peace is broken and remade, how land and food are taken and restored, whose knowledge is silenced and whose is allowed to count. Ours is the deep approach — deep listening, deep learning, deep engagement, deep weaving, deep analysis. Today's precarity cannot be healed at the surface. It demands that we reach the deep roots: the patriarchal, colonial, and extractive structures that bind gender injustice, ecological degradation, and erosion of Indigenous knowledge and rights into one and the same story — a story we are documenting, contesting, and rewriting together.
