Roles and Responsibilities
The Advisory Board comprises distinguished and notable individuals appointed to provide guidance on organizational performance, project implementation, and strategic planning to achieve the objectives of DEEP EnGender. Additionally, the board supports the promotion of the network and its activities, oversees the management of DEEP EnGender’s resources and publications, and identifies potential sources of funding and grants.
The Chairperson, Executive Director, Programme Director, and Finance & Administration Manager are responsible for managing the day-to-day operations and administration of DEEP EnGender, overseeing project deliberation, allocating available funds, and preparing the Annual Report along with other relevant reports. They also ensure the quality and ethical standards of project activities, transparency & accountability, and uphold the professionalism of all team members. Furthermore, they work to expand the organization’s impact, enhance outreach efforts, and strengthen stakeholder engagement.
Research & Community Director, Research & MEAL Coordinator, and Researchers are responsible for data collection and data analysis for research purposes. In addition, they are also managing communication platforms—including the website, social media, and blogs—designing graphic materials, and drafting project proposals for relevant programs and activities. They also draft project grant proposals, organize fieldwork logistics, and handle other related operational needs.
YILA Programme Officer, oversees the full cycle of YILA (Youth-Inclusive Learning Academy) while contributing to the organisation’s visual communication and academic writing activities.
YILA Coordinator and YILA Co-Coordinator support the YILA (Youth-Inclusive Learning Academy) by contributing to program planning and implementation, helping to ensure a smooth program flow, and maintaining consistent communication with all participants.
DEEP EnGender operates on an egalitarian rather than hierarchical structure. Working groups shall be established as needed to support task execution, and develop future initiatives and strategic directions.
